Global? Local? We’re both

We all think global and feel local

We work across continents. And when we work together, we also respect local cultures and ways of doing things. In addition to serving the needs of our individual, corporate and institutional clients, we engage with local communities to build sustainable and successful partnerships with non-profit organizations and social enterprises.

The three keys to success

At UBS, we believe that the right strategy and a strong culture drive strong performance. The three keys to success – our Pillars, Principles and Behaviors – embody the foundation of our strategy and culture. They define what we stand for both as a firm and individually.

Pillars

The foundation for everything we do

Risk management, capital strength, efficiency and effectiveness

Principles

What we stand for as a firm

Sustainable performance, client focus, excellence

Behaviors

What we stand for individually

Collaboration, challenge, integrity

Driving change that matters

Being more optimistic about the future means thinking about the long term and where we can have the biggest impact.

Together, there's so much we can do.

Our long-term success is to increase sustainability and well-being of the communities of which we operate. In line with our global policy, Community Affairs programs in Asia Pacific seek to overcome social challenges by investing in our two focus area of "education" and "entrepreneurship", providing targeted financial support and employee volunteering to generate positive impact in our local communities.

Our colleagues in China are key to the success of our community program. We encourage staff to support our local communities by offering them up to two volunteer days a year.
